AOC, a brand business unit under China-based ODM TPV Technology, expects its global shipments of LCD monitors to increase from 16 million units in 2010 to 24 million units in 2011 and further to 30 million units in 2012, aiming to become the global largest vendor in 2013, according to the company.

AOC mainly relies on emerging markets in Asia and Africa, with China being the largest. AOC shipped 10 million LCD monitors in the China market in 2010 and expects to ship 13-14 million units in 2011.

In the Taiwan, AOC's 2010 monitor market share of 9-10% ranked fifth, and the company expects to become the third-largest vendor with a market share of 15% in 2011.
