An electric car solution developed by Taiwan-based upstream supply chain players including Delta Electronics, Wistron and Qisda, has recently been revealed at an automobile exhibition show in Shanghai, China.

The project was led by Taiwan-based design house X-Gene and the company is also showcasing an electric car named Avant GT at the show which features the solution.

Commenting on the electric car market, advisor of the project, Stan Shih pointed out that Taiwan will have a great opportunity in the electric car business as players can copy their experience from the PC industry to the electric car industry.
