Taiwan-based LED chip makers Huga Optotech and Lextar Electronics have reported a net loss per share of NT$0.03 and that of NT$0.2 respectively for the first quarter of 2011, while fellow maker Tyntek posted net earnings per share (EPS) of NT$0.1.
Huga Optotech has applied for transferring its listing from the local Emerging Stock bourse to the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) and expects to begin TSE listing in the third quarter of 2011.
Lextar's proposed distribution of a dividend per share of NT$1.5, NT$1.0 in cash and NT$0.5 in stock, for the 2010 operation has been approved at the 2011 shareholder meeting.
