Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) on May 10 reported non-consolidated revenues of NT$204.94 billion (US$7.02 billion) for April 2011, decreasing 4.63% on month, but increasing 33.2% on year.
Commenting about its performance, Foxconn pointed out its consumer electronics business saw strong growth in April, leading all its other product lines, while its PC and communication products businesses maintained stable growth.
Although the company had a slight on-month revenue drop in April, compared to its competitors, which had an average on-month revenue drop of more than 10% in the month, Foxconn still had steady performance, noted market watchers adding that they expect Foxconn to continue achieving revenue growth in the second quarter.
Foxconn's combined non-consolidated revenues for the first four months of 2011 reached NT$758.95 billion, up 33.47% on year.
