Suzhou Top Creation Machines has landed orders for wet processing equipment from first-tier PCB manufacturers, according to the company. The fulfillment of new orders will boost its revenues to US$14 million in 2011, and top US$20 million in 2012, the company said.
Suzhou Top Creation is a subsidiary of Taiwan's Csun Manufacturing specializing in equipment used to manufacture PCBs. Its newly-developed wet processing tools are designed specially for the production of high-end PCBs such as any-layer HDI boards.
Suzhou Top Creation commented that any-layer HDI boards are seeing growing adoption among smartphones and tablet PCs, thanks to the popularity of Apple's devices.
Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE), Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry), Gold Circuit Electronics, Kinsus Interconnect Technology, Nanya PCB and Wus Printed Circuit (Kunshan) reportedly have ordered wet processing machines from Suzhou Top Creation.
Csun currently holds a stake of more than 60% in Suzhou Top Creation. Csun mainly manufactures equipment used in the production of PCBs and LCD panels.
Csun expects its consolidated revenues for 2011 to grow 20-30%, company president Webber Wong was quoted as saying in previous reports. It saw consolidated revenues jump 87.9% to NT$3.69 billion (US$126 million) in 2010, with pre-tax profits coming to NT$487 million.
