Taiwan-based Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) is currently showcasing it latest technologies in 3D imaging, touch, and green energy related panels at Display Taiwan 2011. WS Lin, chairman of CPT, stated that by focusing on small- to medium-sizes and touch panels, the firm will show outstanding performance.

According to Lin, CPT already has mature 3D technologies and has been developing integrated production of touch panels which is its competitive advantages over its competitors.

CPT will also be showcasing a series of thinner and more energy-efficient panels at the show.

To comply with the global trend of greener displays, many firms have been shifting focus to produce products adopting LED backlights to increase brightness and lower energy consumption.
