Taiwan's October 2011 consumer price index (CPI) of 107.76 (2006 as base year) rose by 0.50% on month and by 1.22% on year, while the corresponding wholesale price index (WPI) of 114.14% increased by 0.08% on month and by 5.93% on year, the Directorate-General Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) has revealed.

For January-October, the average CPI of 106.79 and average WPI of 112.34 rose by 1.40% and 4.29% respectively on year, DGBAS indicated.
