PPI China, the largest professional fair for food & drink processing and packaging industry in South China, is held annually in May in Guangzhou. It dedicates itself to spreading advanced technology of processing and packaging from all over the world and offers with complete solution for final customers. With the 51% of annual growth, it has become the No.1 fair for the industry in South China, and one of the most important and influential industry events in Asia.

The 3rd PPI China in Guangzhou Liuhua Complex of Chinese Export Commodities Fair ended up with great success on May 20th 2006. 432 exhibitors come from 13 countries and regions meet on a 15,000-sqm exhibition area. Compared with the last year, it gets a 53% increase, and the regular exhibitors account for 61% is the important part of our exhibition, such as TECH-LONG, LP, ASG, DASE-SING, TRIOWIN, unipektin, BERICAP, OMRON, MARKEN ,XIAOJIN, RING PACK, NETZSCH, FUJEE, Tanyule, testo. According to the survey, PPI China has been the most attractive exhibition for the processing and packaging industry, and also the most important platform for entering the food and beverage market of South China.

According to the data of PPI China 2006, 20,513 buyers from 27 countries and regions have visited our exhibition in three days, and 3,148 visitors from abroad. That means the 80.3% and 82.5% increase compared with last year. The most overseas buyers top five are from Hong Kong, Russia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Korea, the domestic buyers top five are from Guangdong, Shanghai, Beijing, Fujian and Guangxi.

There are 11 high-quality technique meeting and seminar about PET,RFID, E-shaft Driven, BCT, VR Technology, Fruit Processing, Dairy Industry Forum, Issue for the standard of brewing and beverage machine in China held at the same time, which made PPI China more professional, and offer the exhibitors and visitors more abundant and effective information.

Because of the lack of an exhibition hall for the PPI China 2007, the fair will move to the Guangzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center (Canton Fair Pazhou Complex), Asia's largest exhibition venue. In 2007, we will make a great progress with 600 exhibitors, 21,000-sqm exhibition area and 30,000 buyers, and become a world-class exhibition.
