QATAR Airways will become the first airline to fly from the Gulf to south China's Guangzhou starting from March 31.

The Doha-based carrier will operate four non-stop Airbus A330 flights a week. The route will help strengthen the airline's China network, where it already flies to Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.
