HANG Seng Bank has gained regulatory approval to set up a branch in Tianjin.

With the branch, the Hong Kong-based bank will have a network in 10 cities on the Chinese mainland.

Hang Seng has 23 outlets on the mainland, and the figure is expected to top 50 by 2010.
