HAINAN Airlines Co estimated yesterday that its net profit will soar by 200 percent last year from 182 million yuan (US$25.31 million) in 2006.

The carrier attributed the growth to the continuous appreciation of the yuan and the booming aviation market, it said in a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
