AEGON-CNOOC Life Insurance Co opened its branch in Guangdong Province yesterday to tap the southern China market.

The branch is the Shanghai-based insurer's fifth provincial branch besides Jiangsu, Shandong and Zhejiang provinces and Beijing. A multi-channel sales mode will be introduced to the Guangdong market.
