M. Demajo Group to represent Chinese machinery corporation

A collaboration agreement was recently signed between the M. Demajo Group of Companies and the China National Construction and Agricultural Machinery Import/Export Corporation (CAMC) in Beijing.

The agreement provides for Tethys Oil Supplies and Services (TOSS), a member of the M. Demajo Group, to be CAMC's operational base for Europe and North Africa. Expansion into other regions is also being considered.

Su Weike, president, and vice-president Wang Yuki signed for CAMC and Joseph M. Demajo, chairman, and John Darmanin, director of TOSS, signed for the M. Demajo Group.

CAMC is the largest engineering group of companies in China and is involved in heavy industry, infrastructure projects, energy and agriculture, to mention but a few.The group is the third largest engineering conglomerate in the world and employs over 2.8 million people.

TOSS provides marketing, technical and other support services to the oil and gas industry mainly in the Mediterranean region. Headquartered in Malta, TOSS also operates from its Tripoli office in Gargaresh.

The M. Demajo Group is one of Malta's leading privately owned commercial groups. The group's activities include ICT, industrial supplies and services, manufacturing, contracting and projects, consumer products, tourism and leisure industries.The recent agreement with CAMC is another important step in placing the M. Demajo Group on the international scene.
