Synnex to establish six operating centers in China

Taiwan-base channel retailer Synnex Technology International has announced it will invest US$23 million to establish six operating centers in China to strengthen its channel lineup in the country.

The six China operating centers will be located in Ningbo (US$4 million), Fuzhou (US$5 million), Chongqing (US$5 million), Changsha (US$4 million), Shijiazhuang (US$4 million) and Zhengzhou (US$1 million), and the company plans to establish more operating centers in other cities in China in 2011 and is targeting to bring the number of is regional operating center worldwide to more than 20.

Synnex is also optimistic about China's national day holiday sales and believe that the overstock problem is gradually being solved.

Synnex expects its consolidated revenues for September will be higher than the NT$24.14 billion (US$769.40 million) reported in August and the company will have chance to set a new record.
