Taiwan received export orders worth US$35.646 billion in October 2010, representing the second highest ever monthly level next to US$35.980 billion in September 2010 and increasing by 12.26% on year, according to the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).
IT/communication products and electronic products were the top two categories in terms of export order value in October, with the former generating US$9.216 billion and the latter US$8.818 billion.
The January-October cumulative value stood at US$334.410 billion, rising by 28.89% on year.
