Gigabyte Technology has received server orders from clients in the US and will start shipping in the first quarter of 2011, helping the company's 2011 revenues from the server segment grow over 30% on year, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.

Meanwhile, fellow maker Micro-Star International (MSI) is also expected to see raising profitability as the company has changed its sales strategy as well as completed digesting its inventory, the paper added.
