CHINA UnionPay Co, the country's sole bank card transaction switcher, has entered 98 overseas markets with the recent additions of French Polynesia, Tanzania, Nepal, Malawi, Madagascar and Seychelles.

The country's sole card payment operator is competing with overseas rivals like MasterCard Worldwide and Visa International to tap the bank card payment market.
