CHINESE car maker Jianghuai Automobile Co started exporting the first batch of 500 cars to Brazil on Tuesday.

It signed a deal in August to export 620,000 ethanol-powered cars to Brazil in the next 10 years.

In a statement yesterday, Jianghuai said another 1,500 cars will be shipped in January and 2,500 more in February.
