Lite-On Technology has reported December 2010 consolidated revenues of NT$10.02 billion (US$342.56 million), up 4% on year. The sales growth was attributable to Lite-On's ongoing expansion in market share, coupled with stable demand.

Consolidated revenues for the fourth quarter totaled NT$30.57 billion, up 7% on year.

In December, all of Lite-On's major business units showed steady growth, with the camera module, optoelectronics (LED), and power supply business units posting growth of 100%, 17% and 10% on year, respectively. Especially notable has been the camera module business unit, capping five consecutive months of record highs.

Market sources noted that with the optoelectronics business continuing to set record revenues in September to October, total revenues of Lite-On in 2010 are expected to increase by almost 40% on year.
