Taiwan's National Communications Commission should speed up the release of frequency bands for LTE operations, as the fast growing mobile data traffic due to smartphones and tablet PCs has accelerated the deployment of LTE networks worldwide, according to Philip Tseng, general manager of Ericsson Taiwan.
