BEIJING, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares ended much lower in Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses at midday Monday on reports that the central bank is considering further tightening bank required reserves.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 1.06 percent, or 27.79 points, to 2,584.4 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index fell 1.31 percent, or 151.21 points, to finish the morning session at 11,416.96.
