The aggregated turnover of China's logistics industry totaled 26.8 trillion Yuan (3.3 trillion U.S. dollars) in the first half of this year, up 15.3 percent year-on-year.
The growth rate was one percentage point slower than that in the same period of last year.
In a break-down, the sector's turnover of industrial commodities came to 23.4 trillion Yuan (2.9 U.S. dollars), up 15.6 percent year-on-year.
Its turnover of imported goods climbed 14.2 percent year-on-year to 2.95 trillion Yuan.
The turnover involving farm produce stood at 461.5 billion Yuan, representing a rise of 5.1 percent year-on-year.
Rising energy prices on global market have forced Chinese firms to pay more for logistics.
