TOKYO, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Nikkei tumbled Monday morning on a weaker-than-expected U.S. employment data released last week.
The benchmark index lost 152.85 points, or 1.71 percent, from Friday to 8,797.89.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 12.57 points, or 1.63 percent, to 757.21.
