Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) has reported its August non-consolidated revenues decreased 6.55% sequentially to NT$214.43 billion (US$7.39 billion).

While shipments of communication devices and PCs in August remained unchanged compared to July, shipments of consumer electronics fell short of original expectation, which was the mainly reason for the revenue decline, Foxconn said.

Industry observers said Foxconn's shipments of iPhone 4 may have decreased in August because of inventory adjustments ahead of the launch of the new iPhone model.
