Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) has announced that consolidated net sales for September 2011 reached NT$5.36 billion (US$175.35 million), up 3.6% on month and down 9% on year, with a significant rise in shipments of small- to medium-size LCD panels.

Net sales of its TFT business for the month came to NT$5.13 billion, up 5.2% on month and down 2.7% on year. Shipments of large-size LCD panels totaled 1.15 million units, down 3.3% on month and down 30.3% on year, while shipments of small- to medium-size panels totaled 51.59 million units, up 9.6% on month and up 42.8% on year, according to the company.

Non-consolidated revenues for September 2011 totaled NT$4.9 billion, up 4.2% on month and down 3.8% on year, the company said.
