Asia Optical, which makes optical lenses and digital cameras, has reported third-quarter losses narrowed significantly, with net loss reduced to NT$20 million from net loss of NT$309 million in the preceding quarter.

Net operating loss for the third quarter totaled NT$5 million (US$0.17 million), compared to net operating loss of NT$245 million in the second quarter.
