Data from Nissan showed that its sales volume in China hit 132,000 units, with a YoY increase of 96%.
The mentioned high growth rate had kept for three months. Specifically, the growth rate was 83% in September and even soared to 128% in October. Influenced by Diaoyu Islands Issue, sales of Japanese cars like Nissan declined dramatically since September, 2012, which provided a relatively-low contrast base. Meanwhile, launch of new vehicles also drove sales volume to rebound.
From January to November, the company sold 1,132,000 units of cars in China, up 13.1% year on year.
In addition, based on good performance in the past months, Nissan improved its annual sales target from 1.25 million units to 1.27 million units.
