On 20 April, GAC- Honda, Honda China and Dongfeng- Honda take Beijing Auto Exhibition together. They shall release a new middle level SUV, the third generation Fit and new Crosstour to market. The 3 new cars will be the most important new cars of GAC- Honda this year, and will benefit GAC- Hondachannel upgrading plan initialed last year.
All of the new middle level SUV, the 3rdgeneration Fit and new Crosstour aim young customer segment. They adopt young design which reflects GAC- Hondarejuvenation tendency.
The middle level SUV which shall launch market in fourth quarter this year is geared with new FUNCTEC technology of Honda. The SUV owns sport car liner appearance, compartment with sense of future and fuel economic design. It is a symbol that GAC- Honda walks into SUV segment, and will rich GAC- Honda product line layout.
Year 2014 is the 10th year since Fit join Chinese market. GAC- Honda has released the 3rdgeneration Fit on 18 April at Beijing Auto Exhibition. As the second global strategy product, Fit is built at high standard with power, fuel cost, configuration, space and operation. For power, Fit is geared with 1.5T direct injection engine with CVT, which makes 3rd Fit fuel costing 5.3L per 100 miles. The 3rd generation Fit shall launch market in the first half this year. GAC- Hondaauthorized dealers and flagship shop of T-mall.com shall open for order since 19 April.
Crosstour, which shall launch market on April 18, is upgraded as well. It is geared with 3.0T engine with “Earth Dream Technology”. It is the first time to use Honda four wheel driving system, and standard configurator with LED front light and panoramic sunroof.
With main consumer of automobile shift from 70’s generation to 80’s generation, customers demand is changed as well. To meet the demand of customers, the first “Four to One” authorized dealer of GAC- Honda has initialed to change its channel since year 2013. It introduces total new standard into future dealers. In year 2014, GAC- Honda speeds up its new standard introduction procedure and plans to achieve new dealer standard building within e years.
