New Geely Back Again, Total New Brand Strategy Published

At present, Geely Auto has published its global strategy at Beijing, and announces to integrate its 3 sub-brands Emgrand, Gleagle and Englon into new Geely back again. The new logo based on Emgrand, and integrated with original Geely blue. SUN Xiaodong, vice president and sales company general manager says that new logo of Geely just like man abdominal muscle with energy. It expects that Geely moves forwards with energy and endeavor. As it known, the existed brands will still marketing under patent Geely. But the new products will launchmarketwith new logo and brand image.

Meanwhile, Geely has announces 5 series, Panda Series aims A00 segment, and King Kong aims AO class. Vista aims A- class and Emgrand for A class. KC series aims B class. SUN Xiaodong says new cars introduction will be sorted with different series, and new cars’ names will not change name of series. “But it does not mean only 1 new car introduction under 1 series. We shall introduce more new cars plusaccording to marketperformance.”

With brand back, channels are also integrated. SUN Xiaodong says Geely owns almost 1 thousand shops around China, but only hundreds of them are investors. Therefore channels integration will not be as hard as outside guess. In year 2014, Geely sale goal aims 580 thousands. The figure is 6% growth over 543 thousands sales of year 2013.

As for products, Geely will introduce new cars based onto KC platform. SUN Xiaodong says“we believe that new car performance will exceed Emgrand EC8.”According to plan, in the next 2 years, Geely will introduce F E platform and CMA construction. FE has advantages of “focus” and “Omnipotence” and is able to gear with comprehensive powertrain, and save port for hybrid and electronic driver.
