PHEV, BEV and FCV are the troika of new energy auto market. From perspective of insiders, PHEV is closer to the reality of China now.
On June 17, MIIT of China published economy operation situation of auto industry from Jan to May. According to statistics of China Automobile Industry Association, production and sales of auto from Jan to May are 9.93 million and 9.84 million of cars, which have increased 9.37% and 8.97% over the same period of last year.
What’s noteworthy, production and sales of new energy cars increase fast. Due to incomplete statistics, production of new energy car in May is 3,770 of cars, which has increased 98.32% over last year. Plug-in hybrid electric passenger car is produced 1,014, which has largely increased 567.11%. Besides, plug-in hybrid commercial car is produced 539, which has reduced 4.26% over last year. Blade electric passenger car is 1,851, which has increased 176.68%; figure for blade electric commercial car is 366, which has reduced 29.21%.
Production and sale still are far distance from “production capacity of BEV and PHEV shall be 2 million of cars, and accumulated sales shall exceed 5 million of cars”, which is proposed in . However, insiders believe new energy market in China speeds up with the support of government policies based on the sales increase of new energy auto market.
As it known, MIIT invited relative people of new energy auto generalizing of 39 cities or area on May 21. They discuss about the measure to generalize new energy auto in China, and build China united catalog of new energy auto development. Expert says it will benefit to form a united market and China new energy auto marketization.
Benefited from the good news, some auto companies have speeded their development and generalizing of new energy auto. For example, Nissan and BMW prepared to negotiate with Tesla about charging pile building on June 16; Beijing Auto plans to introduce its BEV mode Shenbao EV into market in July; Volvo shows its S60L PHEV at Beijing Auto Exhibition, and speeds its promotion.
