Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) Ltd. has received all required construction licenses for its new shipyard in Jingjiang city in China's Jiangsu province.

The company on March 19 lodged a prospectus with the Monetary Authority of Singapore for an initial public offering, and part of the fundraising proceeds will be directed to construction of the shipyard.

A person familiar with the matter told Dow Jones Newswires earlier this month that the offer would raise up to US$800 million, making it the biggest Singapore IPO since Thai Beverage PCL.
