The Chinese mainland and Hong Kong SAR have teamed up to crackdown on unscrupulous retail and shopping scams associated with Zero-fee package tours to the city.

The China National Tourism Administration says with golden week just around the corner, it will renew a list of approved Chinese mainland tour organizers.

Unqualified travel firm will be posted on the CNTA website. The Hong Kong Tourism Commission says it will also extend the return period from 2 weeks to 6 months for mainland shoppers.
