Industrial Bank Co (stock code: 601166) launched the country's first debt-backed individual investment product in Shanghai yesterday.

The product, linked with the lender's individual mortgage loan, is an interest-swap product with leverage functions. The Fujian Province-based lender is gearing up to build its market share in retail banking by offering newer products.
