PERTRONIC Industries Ltd, a fire-detection systems maker, opened its first China sales and support office yesterday in Shanghai. The New Zealand-based company has a 55- percent market share in its home turf. It hopes to expand in China, which imports about 30 percent of its needs for fire-control equipment.
