CHINA Aviation Industry Corp I, also known as AVIC I, and China Eastern Airlines Corp plan to form a Chinese regional airline, the Shanghai Securities News said, citing unidentified China Eastern officials.

AVIC I will own 60 percent of the airline, while China Eastern will hold 40 percent, the newspaper said.
