THE People's Bank of China announced yesterday that China National Advanced Payment System, a high-value payment system and bulk electronic payment system, has been established.

The HVPS, as a key part of the advanced payment system, enables instant clearing across banks nationwide and real-time inter-bank bond trading, Su Ning, deputy president of the central bank, said.
