The Bank of Communications (stock code: 601328) yesterday teamed up with four subsidiaries under the People's Insurance Co (Group) of China in life, property and casualty and health insurance, along with asset management.
The Shanghai-based bank will sell insurance policies on behalf of the Beijing-based insurer throughout its network.
