BRITISH Airways Plc will finance the purchase of 36 new aircraft through a leasing deal with Chinese banks, the Sunday Telegraph reported, without saying where it got the information. The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (stock code: 601398) is one of the lenders involved in the agreement, the newspaper said. This is the first time Chinese banks have participated in a deal of this kind, the Sunday Telegraph said.
