CHINA UnionPay Co, the country's sole trans-bank card system operator, teamed up with the Bank of New Zealand yesterday to let UnionPay cards be acceptable through all of BNZ's automatic teller machine and key merchants network in the future.

BNZ has 420 ATMs and 18,000 point of sales machine at merchants, accounting for more than one quarter of New Zealand's bank card market.
