The China Insurance Regulatory Commission plans to hold a hearing on its plans to double the coverage of compulsory vehicle insurance to 120,000 yuan (US$16,238) in the middle of this month in Beijing, the regulator said yesterday.

Twenty-two delegates are allowed, three of which are experts and four are from public while 12 are policy holders. The remaining three are from the insurance association.
