The predecessor of the company was Ningbo Dunhuang Group Co,Ltd, a corporation solely founded by Ningbo Knitting Group Co,Ltd and incorporated by directed placement, with the approval of Ningbo Economic Restructuring Office by the document Numbered [1993]44. Ningbo Knitting Group can be tracked back to Ningbo Thread Producing Mill, a company established in 1955 and the only designated thread producing enterprise then in Zhejiang province.
