Shanghai Kai Kai Industry Company Limited is principally engaged in manufacture and distribution of pharmaceuticals and apparels. The Company operates its businesses through pharmaceutical business, which provides products such as ginseng and antler tonic products, as well as apparel business, which offers shirts, cashmere sweaters, suits, trousers and knitted underwear, among others. The Company also involves in operation of regular chain shops, which deal with shirts, cashmere sweaters and knitted products, as well as provision of leasing services. It distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets. As of December 31, 2009, the Company had seven subsidiaries, which involved in production and distribution of pharmaceuticals, general merchandise retailing, as well as production of apparels and bags.
