Amedia Networks, Inc. (Amedia) is a development stage company that designs, develops and markets Ethernet-based solutions that can be deployed with optical fibers or copper wires to offer voice, video and data broadband services. The Company鈥檚 products enable service providers to offer voice, video and Internet access, or triple-play services, to their subscribers. The Company's initial QoStream product line solution comprise premises gateways, aggregation switches and a network management systems, and are designed to implement Fiber to the Premises (FTTP), Fiber to the Node (FTTN) and other broadband access solutions that many networking companies are undertaking in order to offer triple play services to their subscribers. The Company鈥檚 initial QoStream FTTP products include technologies licensed from Lucent Technologies, Inc. (Lucent), as well as technologies developed jointly with Lucent.
