Targa Resources Corp. (Targa), formerly Targa Resources Investments Inc., is a sole member of Targa Resources GP LLC, the managing general partner of Targa Resources Partners LP (the Partnership). As of December 31, 2010, its interests in the Partnership consist of a 2% general partner interest, which Targa held through its 100% ownership interest in the general partner of the Partnership; all Incentive Distribution Rights (IDRs), and a 15.4% limited partnership interest. In September 2010, it completed the conveyance of all of its remaining operating assets to Targa Resources Partners LP. The Partnership is engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing and selling natural gas and storing, fractionating, treating, transporting and selling natural gas liquids (NGL), and NGL products. The Partnership operates in two divisions: Natural Gas Gathering and Processing, and NGL Logistics and Marketing.
