China Ritar Power Corp. (Ritar) is a manufacturer of lead-acid batteries in China. Through the Company鈥檚 subsidiaries, it designs, develops, manufactures and sells lead-acid batteries with a range of applications, including telecommunications, uninterrupted powers source devices, light electric vehicles and alternative energy production (solar and wind power). It conducts all of its operations in China. The Company markets, sells and services its six series and 197 models of Ritar branded, cadmium-free, valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA), batteries in China and internationally. On October 15, 2009, the Company disposed of its 95% interest in Shenzhen Ritar Power Co., Ltd.

Ritar was established in May, 2002. Within a few years it rapidly became one of China’s leading lead acid battery and power supply unit manufacturer in China.
