Hainan Expressway Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the construction, maintenance and management of expressways, as well as the development and sale of real estate. The Company mainly invests in the construction of Hainan eastern line expressway, as well as conducts commercial residential building projects in Hainan Province, China. As of December 31, 2009, the Company had three wholly owned subsidiaries, one partially owned subsidiary and one associate, primarily involved in advertising design, real estate development and operation, logistics consulting, as well as passenger and freight transportation, among others.
