Huabei Expressway Co., Ltd is principally engaged in the operation of Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway. The Company mainly generates its revenue from toll collection. Through its subsidiaries and associates, the Company is also involved in the construction and operation of bridges, road maintenance, logistics business, the provision of investment consulting and planning services, the leasing of mechanical equipment, as well as the repairing of vehicles. The Company primarily operates its businesses in north China. As of December 31, 2009, the Company had four major subsidiaries and two associates.
