Winfoong International Limited is an investment holding company. The Company operates through three business segments. Property investment and management segment leases the Company鈥檚 properties to generate rental income and to gain from the appreciation in the properties鈥?value in the long term, and provides building management services. Its investment property portfolio is located entirely in Hong Kong. Property development segment develops and sells the Company鈥檚 residential properties. Its activities are carried out in Hong Kong and Singapore. Horticultural services segment provides horticultural services in Hong Kong. On October 12, 2009, the Company disposed of its interest in Maincon (Building) Pte Ltd and its subsidiary (collectively, Maincon Group). On January 25, 2010, the Company disposed of its interest in Goldease Investments Limited. These subsidiaries were sold to the Company鈥檚 substantial shareholder, Hong Fok Corporation Limited.
