The Company operates in two segments: securities trading segment, which is engaged in trading of listed and unlisted securities, and property investment and development segment, which is engaged in property investment and property development. Its operations in property investment included Chengdu Project, Xinjiang Project and Rainbow Lodge, which includes 10 duplex apartment units and 14 car parks in Rainbow Lodge. Its subsidiaries include Cosmopolitan International (China) Limited, Cosmopolitan International Finance Limited, Cosmopolitan International Management Services Limited, Hope Bright Holdings Limited and Kola Glory Limited. On March 19, 2010, the Company disposed its entire interest in Cosmopolitan Properties and Securities Ltd (CPSL) to two independent third parties.
