Crosby Capital Limited is a Hong Kong-based holding company. The Company, together with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the businesses of merchant banking, asset management and direct investment. Its subsidiary, Crosby Asset Management Inc. (CAM), carries out its asset management business. The Company operates through three segments: Merchant Banking, which provides corporate finance and other advisory services; Asset Management, which provides fund management, asset management and wealth management services, and Direct Investment, which holds available-for-sale investments (excluding investments in funds managed by the Company), loans to investee and related companies. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the Company acquired a further 1.73% equity interest in CAM. In October 2010, Crosby Asset Management Inc. disposed its operating businesses to the Company.
